NATURE CONSERVATION IN THE FAMILY

 

Through conversation with the children, we concluded that most children, at home together with their parents, take care of nature in some way.

Because of that we decided that everyone, with the help of their family members, should make a poster showcasing how they care for the enviroment within their own family.

The children were very excited about this task. After a week we collected all the assignments and the children presented their posters in front of friends.

The task proved to be very useful because the children and parents spent quality time together and the children became aware of what they are doing to protect nature.

NATURE CONSERVATION IN OUR GROUP

 

In front of the room we set up small containers for sorting waste. Every day, the children brought empty plastic bottles, toilet paper tubes, batteries, and small jars to the kindergarten, which they then put in suitable containers.

We sold the bottles we collected and bought the things we needed to work in the group.

For the living room, the children made containers for glass, paper, bio waste and plastic from tetrapacks for milk. After that, they drew the symbols for the different kinds of waste on paper and made the activity about sorting waste.

One boy came up with the idea to make garbage bags that we will put on the board and then the children drew different waste and stuck it on the corresponding bags.
