Health and well-being - Hiking on the beach!

 Theme: Walking makes you stronger and healthier!

Children age: 6-7 years

Our physical education teacher Heili has made it her mission to make our children physically good and strong to be able to walk long ways. So every Wednesday she takes one group for a long walk. The distance of the walk depends of the children age.

On this Wednesday it was Karikakra group turn to go hiking. Teacher Heili brought the children to the Pirita beach and they just walked and walked and walked...



Made some stops to investigate the nature.



Then had a little snack and headed back to the kindergarten.

Alltogether they walked 5,6 kilometers! 


During the walk it is not important to make educational games but the objective is to be physically active and to have energy to last until the end. To enjoy walking and be healthier through it.
