On the 20th of May on World Bee Day Pirita kindergarten Rukkilill group went to Tallinn Zoo to visit their beehives! The beekeeper Erki Naumanis told interesting facts about the bees and how their life works!
We learned that everybody can help the bees by doing the right choices in everyday life - don't use artificial herbicides, plant flowering plants to your yard and prefer organic food!
And remember - that without the bees, there would be no life on earth!
Apiculture products are very useful and good for you!
After the visit the children had a little picnic!
