NATURE PROTECTION

Our children learned what happens with our friends - animals - in winter. They learned which animals hibrenate and which don't. They learned about birds too - which fly away in autumn looking for some warmer place and which ones stay in Latvia during winters. Children learned that they can help the birds survive the severe winter - the winter like this one. They knew that they have a bird feeder next to the window of their group so early in the autumn they had already started to feed the birds, so that the birds know where to look for food whan the winter comes. One day children decided to make a special treat for the little friends. The treat being ready, children hung them in the trees of the kindergarten.
