OUR CLIMATE - Ants - nature's helpers

The children enrich their knowledge about nature, how ants help our climate, develop fine motor skills when working with clay.

At the beginning of the activity, the teacher introduced the children to the different ecosystems, focusing on ants. The children also looked at various encyclopedias, from which they learned where insects live, what their houses look like, what they eat and how they help nature.

In our House of Knowledge, which is located in the yard of the kindergarten, there are various devices for insect observation. The children closely observed the various insects with magnifying glasses - ladybugs, ants and others.

Finally, they made a model of an anthill - they learned what its structure is, what the ant's cycle is - from egg to ant, how the ant works tirelessly in the anthill and what the ants contribute to our climate.Because ants make a great contribution to ecosystems and climate.
